Tapio School -Haiti-

In February 2012, members of a mission team went for a hike in the mountains of Haiti and came to a fork in the road.  God's providence led us to His path and we began our journey of faith and trust. 

• 2012  - First meeting
• 2012 - After prayerful consideration, monthly support began.
• 2013 - 30' x 60' school building was funded and constructed. 
• 2014 - Desks and concrete floors were added. 
• 2015 - Books provided to students.
• 2017 - Second trip identified need for additional space and meals.
• 2017 - Local Haitian workers began construction of 4 additional classrooms.
• 2017 - Hot lunch program added. 
• 2020 - Morning and afternoon school added to accommodate growth.
• 2022 - Added school building in neighboring community of Douje.
• Present - Tapio currently provides food, education and employment for more than 480 Haitians
